Currently it seems like the Non-Touhou All Star mode doesn't work. Regardless of what's selected in the menu. Checking the save file it looks like every single game played had nonTouhou as false and enabledCustomWordlists is empty as well.

EDIT: After the 1.05 patch I checked again and selecting All-Star with only Non-Touhou words enabled will pull up the scores from Touhou enabled and when in-game the log prints "Word pool is completely empty! Falling back to the entire unfiltered word list."
Even upon deleting all data and selecting only normal words the save file lists all scores as nonTouhou:false.

I see that's quite a strange bug, I was hoping I fixed any weird issues with All-star mode!

Would you be able to tell me what teacher you were playing with? Also were you playing with a modded teacher in your game, with their wordlist enabled? If you had a modded teacher with a custom wordlist, try to see if that teacher's wordlist works fine on its own on a lower difficulty.

Also can you play with Non-Touhou words just fine on a normal difficulty?
It sounds like your game failed to find the Non-Touhou wordlist or there was an issue with parsing words that should have been available which seems very strange.

The issue was present with default Keine, no modded teachers installed.

The Non-Touhou wordpool works fine on every difficulty except All-star, though in the save file all completions list nonTouhou:false.

Starting a completely new save file and only selecting the Non-Touhou wordlist still ranks all newly obtained highscores as having nonTouhou:false.

I played a new game and worked my way up to All-star without an issue, so that leads me to believe that this might be an issue with the game files themselves. Either through mixing different versions of the game, the files being edited, or perhaps an issue with migrating the old All-star scoring/tagging system to the new one.

Could you try downloading a new build of the game, keeping it separate from your old build by putting it in its old folder, and then see if the issue persists? Your save file is saved outside of the game folder, so you should be able to play All-star mode again right away.

Other than that, I think the best thing I can ask for is a copy of your save file. I'm not sure if Itch.io will be happy with you trying to share a file or a link to download a file, so send it to my support email: hornymelondev@gmail.com

The save file should be located in this path, depending on your OS.
Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\HornyMelon\
Linux: ~/.config/HornyMelon/KeinesExpandingClass/save.json

Thank you for your patience and I apologize for the trouble!
