Never mind, I just came back to it and saw that the sizes seem to have been unified since!
I think it's a cute idea to limit range, but the execution is really lacking; there is no Chess360 mode, but instead only a wildly imbalanced version with entirely random pieces. Did I miss it? I would have loved to play Chess360 (like normal chess but with the back row scrambled).
I was also unfamiliar with the appearances of this tileset, yet I couldn't click the opponent's pieces to see what they were. It seemed like the random version gave, like, 5 kings.
Lastly, it was unfortunately also not challenging at all to see the AI just totally ignore a knight and rook of mine eat through the enemy lines and apparently all those kings.
I think there could be great potential in this being a browser game with multiplayer, but it could use addressing some of these issues first.
