hi! I’m Daniel and I’ve grown up playing video games since I was a kid (pokemon emerald, animal crossing, stardew valley were my favorite). I loved the design and kept playing it. I’m a fraud analyst now at my full time job. I just created my first game where I combined my passion for gaming and fraud to help people avoid scams/fraudsters. After having so much fun with my first project I want to create another one that has a horror theme to it but in the style of stardew valley lol we’ll see how it goes I guess! Thankful for this community and learning as much as I can from each of you

Thank you for writing in, Daniel!

Awesome intro for starters! You’ve got a really unique blend of experiences, and it shows. The way you took something as serious and real‑world as fraud analysis and turned it into a game concept that helps people stay safe is honestly brilliant. That’s the kind of creativity that sticks with people.

Pokemon Emerald is one of my favorite games in the series and arguably in my top 10 favorite games of all time, so I'm glad I have more fans of the game!

A horror game in the style of Stardew Valley is such a fun direction. That contrast — soft pixel art meets creeping dread — has so much potential. It’s the kind of idea that makes people curious before they even see a screenshot.

What really stands out, though, is your mindset. You’re not just making things; you’re learning, experimenting, and sharing the journey with the community. That’s exactly the energy that makes itch.io feel alive.

Can’t wait to see what you cook up next! :)
