why does prestige reset

you are referring to start from 0 again in new run? I feel a lot of idle games I play prestige reset so that’s what I did (NGU idle for example). The effects are only applied for this run, then you have to rebuild prestige again.

Yeah. Usually the incremental games that I play (cookie clicker, tower wizard, etc.) have prestige adding on to it

I see, thank you for the feedback! I can make this added too (will have to wait after the game jam is over). There's not much difference right now since content after prestige is not much, but added prestige is probably more clear to a lot of people.
