Loving the game! I'm playing on my Steam Deck (its in a dock and I have a mouse and keyboard set up). I'm experiencing some intermittent stuttering. I've messed around with the settings and nothing seems to help. Do you think there is anything else I can do on my end? Is my Steam Deck just not up to it?

I know that we're still in Alpha, if there really isn't anything I can do that's all good. Still love the game!

Edit: Scratch that, I turned off object shadows and it's running much better! Excited to see what comes next!

This stuttering is most likely related to the error (or rather hundreds of them at a second), caused by the breathless at some point. Turning off object shadows might increase your performance in general, but in case of intermittent stuttering as you said, it has to be a memory leak (check the console to make sure). To get rid of this, simply save and load the game (use f5 and f9 hotkeys if you want) or just stop the ship. This issue will be fixed in the upcoming update.
