Not for the player. At least not for the levels of obesity I've personally experienced during gameplay.
I always slim my character back down to nothing if battling feeders. (This is after multiple stages of outgrowing clothing.)
That's a shame, Would've been a neat feature for the player character too, hope it could be added but if it doesn't I'll atleast understand why
I'll probably include this in the next major update as an optional feature.
