I understand the frustration, I've taken part in a lot of jams where I didn't make it into the showcase video at the end of the jam. It's definitely rough after spending that much energy on the game.

But there were over 400 games submitted to the jam, all made by people who would have loved to be in the video, and I definitely can't cram 400 games into a single video, so the fairest thing to do is show games based on their rank in the jam.

Sometimes the judge voting and community voting don't line up, and more games end up being shown in the video, but this time they were both fairly consistent, so a lot of the same games got repeatedly shown, and fewer games were seen in the video overall.
