Hi! I saw your game on Tiktok <3 Haven't gotten around to playing it, but you have a pretty art style!
There was no specific reasoning for "Chao/朝", but "Xiang" had many hanzi candidates that I considered. I initially chose "翔", but turns out it was a little old-fashioned.
My native-speaker friend helped me pick, and I eventually settled on "楿", which is a rare character that refers to a type of tree, and the right-side of the character (香) means fragrant. It's a perfect fit!
