To get Ending 2, all you have to do is: After the library scene, choose choices that show that you're not digging deeper into things. But if you want a quicker way: Just choose not to kiss Chao :) It'll automatically lead you to Ending 2!

After the Stage 2 mark, choose all 4 options that show your interest in finding out more about Chao, including the kiss. Choose:

1. Dig deeper

2. They want to tell you something

3. There's something more

4. Kiss him/Let him kiss you

It'll automatically lead you to the branch leading to ending 3 and 4. "Pick your poison" is the line I used when you reach this part :) To get the needle scene, choose the "Ask him yourself" option. Enjoy!

Chao's stalking made MC develop paranoia and emotional instability. 

The random drunkard MC met in the alley was a coincidence that worked in Chao's favor. MC panicked, hit the drunkard, and ran away.

Chao brought the body* to the morgue as a way of telling MC that he knows what they did, and give MC no choice but to either take his help (destroy the body evidence) or turn themself in (since the ID card has already logged MC's entry). 

*Whether the MC's hit killed the drunkard, or if Chao was the one who did afterwards, is up to player interpretation. 

Hope this clears things up! :]

I would say that it's only in ending 3 and 4 that the MC both knows his dark side and loves him anyway, but ending 1 could eventually lead to a dark love as well ;)

Also, you're very close! The "Don't be scared." line was a passing reassurance meant for whoever is watching the interview, not his colleagues (since the 'we' in 'we're excited' is them ;)). But you're right, it's also intentionally meant to refer to the players <3 I was waiting for someone to mention that double purpose!

I'm not going to respond too specifically to the theories, since it's spoiler territory, but I really like your observations (*ᵕᴗᵕ) 💙

It's both his appearance and demeanors that are subtly off-putting. And I purposefully clarified the DNA/fingerprint match in-game, both as part of a realistic procedure, and so the task force members (and players!) know that Vasily was not replaced by another person during pre-deployment. It was him, alright (for better or for worse (ᵕ•_•)).

About the mention of Vasily's ankle: 

Yes, he slipped off-screen! He's completely unharmed, not even a sprain, but MC just wanted to check on him since he did fall down. 

There's actually a guessable reason behind why he could've slipped, but I'd rather see if anyone will be able to get it first before I reveal it, HAHAH
