I did manage to play the game and it performed poorly on my device (a pixel 10 pro, so that was unexpected!). I didn't feel challenged, the control scheme was difficult to use on mobile, and I didn't feel like character selection had any bearing on the gameplay at all.
It was at least a battle, so good marks in the "theme" category 😅
