Unfortunately I did not duplicate this bug. Are you sure your new prestige was 10 instead of 173?
The colored number is the prestige for next reset (might be lower than current), and the second number is current run's prestige.

Ah, that's because the effect is actually equal to prestige point^0.43. Meaning they double every time prestige grows by 5 times. Otherwise it's going to grow too fast (prestige is already a bit too fast).
sorry for the confusion! Right now the balancing is not well made. I’ll try to improve that and also make it more clear how prestige works.
