Yes, the generated scenes contain exactly only standard Godot nodes and resources. They do not require any custom PolyRig scripts or resources at runtime.

Yes, you can reinstall PolyRig later and continue editing the same rig, mesh, and weights without having to recreate anything.

Yes, if you uninstall it, you are left with standard Godot tools, so you can continue the work manually using built-in features without starting over.

PolyRig is currently an Early Access project. To be transparent, my academic workload is quite heavy right now, so I cannot guarantee a long-term roadmap or promise major new features. However, I will do my best to fix critical bugs and keep it compatible with future Godot 4.x updates as my schedule allows.
