I would absolutely love Timelines added into this. I'm using your software to keep things organized for a video game that I have been developing on the occasion and it has been quite a massive help compared to the other programs that I have used by far.
Honestly I took a looong break from this project, but your comment kindled some interest - I drafted a proof-of-concept add on for the Timelines functionality :)
It would be like every object of "Event" category under a "Timeline" category would be printed in this as long as they have some DateTime field filled in; according to your customized crazy date formats (as long as it's consistent) - I hope this kinda solves some issues! It is of course open for improvement (may take awhile to fully implement)
