Very fun story-with-a-story. Writing is solid, as expected, with fantastic art and animations. The escapism was effective at drawing out the suspense/tension of the real world. I was dreading what was going to happen to Tyler the entire time. That said, I do think the dnd bits were a bit overdone. Maybe I missed some symbolisms/parallels, but for the most part it was a completely separate story that didn't really contribute to the rest of the plot meaningfully. It could've been any other story and I think it could've worked. (Disclaimer: I don't know much about dnd, so maybe I'm missing context for stuff.) The handoff between the worlds is well done and adds to the engagement.
