If you're docked, the breathless shouldn't be able to harm you.
Use lockers/closets to hide, use alarm to lock all the doors or just close all the doors and hope it won't open all of them that quick 😅
Monitoring its location on the ship scanner, you can just avoid it, because its target is your cockpit. In case it enables the alarm, just unpower the ship.
