I totally agree with your points. One thing I've already noticed myself is that many of the current levels let you focus on one room and then the other. Ideally, I want the two rooms to feel much more interconnected, so you're constantly thinking about both at the same time rather than solving them separately.
The current version is still the original game jam build, so the level design definitely needs a lot more work. Right now, I'm focusing on improving the level design and introducing new mechanics that make the two rooms feel more interconnected.
Also, the invisible wall is actually a bug. There was supposed to be a visible wall there, but I forgot to include the sprite, so it ended up looking like an invisible wall.
I really appreciate the suggestions about doors, pressure plates, and other cross-room interactions. Those are exactly the kinds of ideas I'm looking into as I continue developing the game.
