it would be better for you to admit this game is ai
What is there to admit? All the writing, coding, environments, gameplay, literally everything about this game is hand crafted. Yes, I use Stable Diffusion (an AI tool) in my workflow to assist with the art only, and I am transparent about this in the description.
People like you seem to think using AI in 1 aspect of your workflow is somehow akin to the entire game being produced with a prompt or something, when its a product of thousands of hours of human work. It's just a sign you are misinformed and uneducated.
If you prefer to not play games that use AI, you don't have to. The game has an AI-Assisted tag/label on it, and you can filter Itch to disclude these types of games. But acting like there is anything to admit, or that I simply typed a prompt in ChatGPT and it pumped out a game, is you being purposely ignorant.
But the art in this one is actually pretty good. It still takes time to get AI to produce art that isn't messy, inconsistent garbage, and frankly I don't see the creator of this game anywhere actively trying to hide the fact that this game was made using AI or deceive people over it. Like I'd get it if they were in the comments actively deceiving people trying to act like the art is 100% legit but they're not doing that; not only that but they have an additional notice in their own description about the AI assistance, beyond just the AI-label in the tags field which is required by Itch.
So they are very open about using AI to help with the art, they at least put enough attention into it to make sure it's GOOD art, and everything else was made by them which suggests they're just someone who wanted to make a game and couldn't make the art for it. Where do you see such a big problem in that scenario?
