Not sure if it's an easy addition or a tough one but adding Chinese with traditional characters would be nice. For example, Taiwanese stuff is usually transcribed with traditional instead of simplified. It's not super important since there are some softwares that can quickly convert afterwards but it would  be appreciated regardless.

I have realised that the second-most-accurate model listed for Chinese does seem to transcribe in traditional. No problem there after all

Great to hear it worked for you Dr Patriot!

Unfortunately after trying a different video file the same model is now giving me simplified characters. So maybe it would be for the best after all to find out if it's possible to get two separate options like "Chinese (Simplified)" "Chinese(Traditional)" but it's no big deal. It would be appreciated though!

I've looked into it more. It seems like people recommend using something called "--initial_prompt" to specify which type of Chinese characters they want in the output. I think this is something put in the command line like a parameter or something. In my case, my technical knowledge is shallow enough that I don't know how this could be done using Private Transcriber Pro.

Another suggestion... sorry if this is too many... provide some way to edit the other whisper configuration options like "compression ratio threshold", "word level timestamps", "length penalty", etc.
