A. Something is corrupting the save files (and preventing them from being properly reset).
B. Some of the new rooms have puzzles so broken that once entered you cannot leave. (on the other hand, their entrances seem to be missing assets, so they may simple be missing "Do not enter/under construction" barriers.)
