Similar to the original Doom engine updates, this is the best remake of 1st person Ultima that I have seen. I never bothered with the non 1st person series games. Just hearing the music, it brings back good old times when I discovered PC ganing. Have you looked at Magic Carpet? It was landmark when it came out. The open game play-no directions graphics was revolutionary when it came out. Each level had varying objectives which you had to figure out to lroceed. Very much ingenious and fun game to play. Anyone else played this?
