the foundation of a cool style and satisfying interactions are there, but it seems like there are some bugs (there are never anywhere close to the stated card limit of cards on the board) and I wish there was another level of stategy or at least improvement to aim for. Particularly around deck construction I think there could be a lot more to work towards. Since you can't change the deck or predict what cards you'll flip there's no point in upgrading anything besides high card and pair besides just burning money, but if you could edit your deck somehow and shoot for other hands that could make choices more interesting. I had a fun half hour with it tho!

For the card limit, it should be the "Board Cap" upgrade that defines how many card can be on the board at once. Are you referring to this?
Regarding the deckbuilding, yes this is what I'm currently working on, it will be added soon. You will be able to obtain:
Jokers: can be manually added to the board to affect nearby cards
Card Modifiers: modify each card to change how it behaves when flipped
