The thrust sometimes randomly goes way further, about the same distance as crushing gale.
There is a skill that you get later on which adds a thrust combo to your attacks, though it should never go the same distance as crushing gale. Can you try reproducing this, attacking 3 times in a row to do the thrust attack and see if that’s what’s doing it? I’ll try to take a look as well when I have some time.
