This is crazy intriguing. I have been making a custom 360-degree system pretty much from scratch in Unity with inverted spheres over time for some projects in development but it looks like this may work really well as a possible alternative option and might turn out to be more intuitive for this specific type of thing.

I looked through all your material and have chosen to stick with the Unity setup I've got now mainly because it's already pretty far along and I don't feel like switching platforms at this point in the process.
