Oh super, the awesome Honey-Game-Developer. :D

Thank you very much for your feedback and mentioning the visuals. I tested some palettes before picking this one. And the rounded rectangles were invented when I sketched the layout and levels with Krita and my graphics tablet. :)

And I know the Playdate. Me, I prefer open source devices but the Playdate looks nice, that’s right. Did you code a game for it? Can I code it without owning one?

Happy results for your bees and you!

I have not used the Playdate admittedly so I don’t know. I’ve recently been interested in such tools, and I found the FireFly Zero through a jam earlier this year. It’s in the same hardware space and I did try to make a small game for it without having any hardware.

I have the ClockworkPi GameShell, open source hardware with a Pi in it and the GUI is made with pygame, so very easy to change and adapt. And it runs loooots of emulators. And cheaper than the Playdate. Maybe it’s also nice for you?
