You have to escape by catching the attention of the boat with the flare (or likely the flashlight as well), I honestly thought it was going to be something way more different lol
hm i got ending with being rescued by the boat after getting the event 3 times, 2 boats and 1 airplane. does the ''make yourself visible'' is different?
