There are several bits of "impossibility" in this one. For one, he's a very good warrior. He's determined and strong...and it makes you wonder what his reason is for continuing when he's outnumbered. You feel sorry for the Jackal. And the last line "What a futile waste of life” is so sad...because in my honest opinion, anyone fighting with this Jackal on their team would have been proud. It would have been such an honor, with how driven he was until the end. So tragic.
