First of all, the presentation is fantastic. The page is very well organized, easy to follow, and the comic-style introduction immediately caught my attention. It does a great job setting the tone for the world before the game even begins.

I also really liked the atmosphere. The setting feels bleak and tense in a good way, and the idea of being the connection between isolated survivors is a clever interpretation of the jam theme.

The combination of exploration, resource management, and discovering information little by little kept me interested throughout the experience. It feels like a concept that could easily grow into a much larger game.

Overall, this is a very ambitious and memorable submission. Great job!

Thank you so much! 😄

The comic intro was actually inspired by something I saw in a YouTube video. I thought it would work great as a quick way to introduce the story, and AI is surprisingly good at comic-style images. Asset consistency... not so much, as you probably noticed 😅

I'm also really happy you noticed how the game fits the theme. For me, "Connections" wasn't just about connecting locations, but also connecting people and piecing together information in your own head.

Of course, it's still a jam game, so there are plenty of rough edges and things I would improve with more time.

And thanks again! I'm already working on a full game with a somewhat similar atmosphere, but on a much bigger scale. So feel free to follow me here on itch.io — I'll be posting a demo in the future. With the help of AI, hopefully we're talking weeks rather than months or years 😄

Thank you!

I actually think your interpretation of the theme is one of the strongest parts of the project. I completely agree that "Connections" can go far beyond simply linking places together. Connecting people, information, and discoveries throughout the journey makes the whole experience feel much more meaningful.

I'm also really glad to hear you're continuing to work on projects with a similar atmosphere. I genuinely enjoyed what you've created here, and I'm already following you on itch.io to keep up with future updates and demos.

Wishing you the best with development, and I hope to play your project when it's ready!
