Oh, I thought there was a checkpoint at the boss sequence. I will playtest and see what happens. Sorry you didnt reach the ending, but great effort though!
I did 2 playtest, one without dying during the main part, and one dying once. Then tried to die at the boss and the checkpoint does work! I am sorry if it didnt work for you :(
Oh no! Maybe I assumed it wouldn't work, since the main section didn't have a checkpoint. That's entirely my fault if so. I did recognize there's a checkpoint between planting the tree and moving on to the four route section. I should have had more faith.
