You don't need to compose the music, there's no shortage of people offering to compose music for free at game jams. Many composers, including myself, have had a lot of difficulty finding a team to participate with. In other words, there are many composers without teams. Besides, many composers participate in several jams at the same time, so it's really not difficult to find someone for your team.

maybe so but then that would have required myself to take the time to coordinate with another person that I don't know and work with them to get something that fits the game. I have full time job and it was enough work just getting the 3 of us that already hang out coordinated to do this.

at the end of the day I didn't break any rules, ai is accepted. I wouldn't have even needed to state I used it but I was being transparent and I also didn't have to give any outside entities access to my private git server which is also a security concern.
