Hi,

I really like the Desktop Companion, but I noticed that it cannot search the internet for up-to-date information. Most of the answers seem to rely on training data that is around 2 years old.

Are there any plans to add web browsing or web search capabilities in future updates so the companion can access current information?

Also, is there any API service that can already be connected for this purpose? For example, Google Search, SearXNG, Tavily, Brave Search, or another search provider.

I would love to use the companion as a real-time AI assistant with access to current information.

Thanks! Tool calling and MCP support are the next big piece of work I'm focusing on — this will include web search, browsing websites, controlling Windows, Spotify, and more. So yes, this is definitely planned for a future update.

May I ask if there is an estimated timeline for these features? In particular, I'm interested in web search capabilities and access to more up-to-date information.

I understand development takes time, but I would appreciate knowing whether these improvements are planned for a future update and, if possible, when they might be available.
