Thanks for playing and for the helpful feedback. I totally see where you are coming from.
I've just uploaded a bug fix so that the relays can no longer be place through walls. This makes the relay connecting mechanic more "connected" with the mining aspect of the game.
My goal was to make the upgrades incremental but the start of the game can make it start off slow for sure and lose player's interest. Thanks again :)
