Pretty cool game! 

Some aspects are a bit confusing though, like the autofighting of enemies, and the last enemy before moving to the next floor having a fight button even though there's nothing else to do but fight them (is there anything to do before fighting them?)

I read some of the other comments to understand that continuing is actually moving to the next floor, a floor indicator would be a nice addition to keep the player informed, as well as possibly displaying how much debt is owed for that run, so that players know when they've earned enough (unless the mystery factor is intended, in that case don't worry!) 

Another idea is having a feature where if you hover over the upgrades, you can get a bit more information on exactly what it improves, as well as a hover feature for the items you've collected

A pause menu would also be a good addition

potentially if the hud starts to get too cluttered you could add an inventory type menu, where you can see all your collected items, as well as stats or other things

Overall, a very nice game, especially for only 2 weeks of development! I enjoyed playing this game despite sometimes feeling like I was stumbling around in the dark 😄

Two weeks unfortunately wasn't enough for the amount of scope creep I kept inflicting on myself, but I've been working on it for when the jam ends.
