Thanks for letting me know, I don't think there's issues with things not spawning, but I think you might be getting lucky and not running into anything since it's a large open area after all.

I'll do some more testing and see if I can improve on it.

Just to make sure things are actually spawning, could you try staying in one place in the dark for 10min or so? You have a higher chance of being found if you stay around a certain area for a long enough time without running around too much.
