The current map size is probably part of it honestly. I'll be experimenting a lot with level design in the Godot rebuild. Right now the plan is to have larger, more randomized maps with more detail, so I'll have to see how that affects balancing.

Well I notice that I lose smiler, but because there isn't enough corridors, she will sometimes see me out of the corner of her eye since the place is so small and start chasing me again.  It's not too difficult to out-manuver her, but it's hard to get away from her.  But I don't see it as too bad of an issue.

That's good to know. I'll keep that in mind when I get around to reworking things.
