Question about NES Jam rules: Is 3D allowed if it follows NES limitations?

Hi! I have a question: is it allowed to create a 3D game as long as the graphics and gameplay follow NES limitations? For example, using 3D models but rendering them with NES-style colors and restrictions.

That's cool.

We're not checking whether your game can technically run on NES hardware, or strictly enforcing any sort of sprite counts/color palettes/ hardware limitations.

The goal is to capture the NES look and feel. If you're using 3D rendering to achieve this, that's perfectly fine.

Thanks for the reply!
