Ah makes sense! Bugs like that suck, especially w/ time restraints of a jam! Good call on just not adding that yet! And I'd love to see course gimmicks! Hopefully you'll expand on it down the road!
I also think you conveyed the theme well thanks to the description on the itch page. Reading that and then playing the game, I definitely saw the CONNECTED theme! A cool and different interpretation of it
