One of my favorite gaming supplements is Mekton Empire. Rather than being given a specific setting you’re given a whole bunch of options you can drag and drop to create a game of your own. I’ve used something similar for Orboboros.
In the game are a number of ‘star charts’, these are random words tables used to generate ideas, very much like oracles in Ironsworn. There are star charts for people, places, and things. There’s suggestions on how to use them to make unique monsters, spells, and treasures (in addition to the oodles of ones already available in the book). The lovely map you see here is just a series of placeholders. You and your players fill in the details as you game. Either by asking questions, ‘Hey has your character been there? What’s it like?’ or rolling on the Star Charts.
While I didn’t design Orboboros to be a solo game, you could easily run it as one. As a GM , there’s plenty of material here to help you create adventures and even run them on the fly!
