Cute! Would have loved to see larger levels and a bigger love explosion when they meet/entwine. But good concept and fits the theme of the jam! Would have played more if i could!

And honestly, I completely agree. I would have loved to add more effects, more visual feedback, and make the reunion between the couple feel even more emotional and impactful. Unfortunately, with the time I had available, I had to focus on making sure the core gameplay and progression were working properly first.
That said, the reaction you've had is exactly what I was hoping for: people wanting to see more of the idea and where it can go from here.
I'm not sure whether you played the web version or the downloadable version, but if you're interested, I'd love to invite you to keep an eye on the project. My goal is to continue developing it beyond the jam and turn it into a complete game.
