Nice work! The visuals are nice and the concept is cool. I like how you added multi-directional aiming too. I'm not sure if you are using physics for the water, but when aiming higher, you could increase the force applied so that the water shoots more towards the top. I know this was for a game jam, but something you could add in the future is an indicator at the top right before and item drops. Just to give the player a better chance to avoid it.
