Lovely game. I enjoyed it so much. the art is great, the concept is great. The loop works great and the chill music makes it so cozy. The heart shape islands are just the right way to present this. You did excellent job. My only issue I had was, the game stops at lvl 8. I don't know if this is intentional or a bug. And when I try to manually select level other than level, 1 I get black screen. Only the first level loads from the level menu. Other than this everything looks amazing!!!

I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere, the heart-shaped islands, and the overall concept. Those were some of my favorite parts to work on.
As for level 8, it's actually the last playable level available right now. The reason I stop the player there is because if the couple meets and you've collected enough stars, the game tries to advance to the next level. Since level 9 doesn't exist yet, I intentionally blocked progression at that point to avoid sending players into unfinished content.
What's interesting is that you mentioned getting a black screen from the level selection menu. That shouldn't normally happen, so you may have actually found a bug that I wasn't aware of. Thank you for pointing it out!
The project was developed in a very short amount of time, and there are still a few things to improve and polish. I definitely keep working on it after the jam, so feedback like yours is incredibly valuable.
