Thanks, but alas, I tried it in the MAME emulator, and it crashes in that, sadly, but then I don't have the required Joystick anyway, but it has a demo... and doesn't get very far.

I do have a Next, but it's been so long since I dug it out. Still, I hope the second Beta version does more for me :)

Hmm, never looked at Next emulation in MAME as I've always used CSpect but will take a look to see why it only crashes in MAME.

Thanks. If you're able to resolve that, that would be fab. I did use CSpect for a while, but every time there was a new version, I had to redownload a new one, and then I read the guy had stopped updating it, anyway.

It does work on MAME although with some emulation bugs. Leonis has completed the game using MAME and posted some videos on Discord on what the bugs look like.

As you'll see my video, it crashed immediately. I tried it twice. Is the new version any better with it, please?

It works for me on MAME v0.288

I'm surprised other reported that 0.288 works. Consider to use dev build of MAME which contains critical fixes which didn't reach upstream yet.
