That was a cute and fun game. My suggestion would be to add a little animation when they meet, like a hug or a kiss, and make the game a little harder. The game looks amazing, the audio is amazing, UI is amazing. Everything is well done. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the kind words, this honestly made me really happy to read.
And I absolutely love the idea of adding a hug or kiss animation when the characters reunite. That kind of emotional feedback is exactly what I wanted the game to have, but unfortunately I only had around 5 actual days of development time available.
I also spent a lot of that time trying to make the grid movement and character alignment system function properly, which ended up limiting how difficult and elaborate I could make the later levels during the jam.
But I’m already gathering feedback and planning improvements for future updates, and your suggestion is definitely one I want to explore.
