Cute lil game, I love the silly wizard hat, and I totally get your issues with uploading on itch, that's something I learned in Game Jams is even a day before, start uploading your itch builds to the browser even if its unfinished, this can really help with playtesting as you can let others playtest it as well, and you can see how it looks on the browser and make changes.
