No I think you were on the right moon. This might be my fault and I should put something on the page for future players. After you fix the ship and talk to the spark he give you a shield. It only says this in his dialogue box and I didn't put it in the hot bar or mention it any other time in the hud so if you missed that one line you will not know there is a shield in the game. So I think players are missing the shields. Really appreciate you taking the time to play. There is a rover and a jet pack to unlock as well but I got them in the hot bar.
