First, good work the game feels really complete and the presentation was very nice, love my mom.

But oh man I suck at games, I have to put more effort than others, I was getting very frustrated by the end. The first test was pretty good I lost once because I have trouble jumping in the top platforms and I touched a lot of cats for that; Then I lost because of the last question; ok that's tolerable. Then in the second phase of the boss with the chalks, holly molly I hit my table like 3 times, I lost more times that I want to admit but I was so angry because I feel like it didn't hit me but probably was just the last pixel of the feet; I'll recommend to reduce the player collision, maybe remove the feet. Still, if the intention was to make it hard, ok still tolerable; Then the platform section, (maybe because I was still a little frustrated before) I hate precise pixel jumps, I almost rage quit but I wanted to see the end, here I would recommend the coyote time for the jump and reduce the collision in the head a little; And finally the last phase of the last boss omg I was feeling bad, now I was getting hit in the top and in the bottom, same recommendation as before, reduce de collision of the player, maybe it was not that hard but because of all that happened before I was just getting tired.

Still I really like it, like I said, good work!!. It was pretty good overall.

Thank you so much for playing all the way to the end and for writing such detailed feedback!

Honestly, this is my first game ever, so your experience and comments really help me a lot 😭

I completely understand what you mean about the collision detection and some of the more difficult platforming sections. I think certain parts ended up being a bit too punishing, especially later in the game when frustration can start to build up.

I’ll definitely keep your suggestions about reducing the hitbox size and adding coyote time in mind for future updates and projects.

And also… the fact that you almost wanted to quit, but still kept going because you wanted to see the ending, genuinely means a lot to me.

I’m really happy to see players finish a game that I put so much care into making!

Thank you again for taking the time to play my game and I’m really happy you liked Mom 😭🫶
