I love the atmosphere and the cutscene at the beginning. As a suggestion, you can add the ability to move side to side and add some hazards or possibly a time limit to force people not to rest too much. Great start!

And yeah, those are actually some really good suggestions. I’ve been thinking about adding hazards like falling rocks, rope tension, and other obstacles to make the climb more intense. A time-pressure mechanic also sounds interesting honestly.
About the side-to-side movement, I did try it before, but it kind of ruined the climbing animation/style I was going for 😅. I wanted the movement to feel more grounded and immersive rather than arcade-like. But I’m still experimenting and trying to make the gameplay more engaging in future updates.
