Cool concept.  The walker should just knock down the trees when it gets there, had some issues finding the hit box when the trees are so close.  Great jam game.

I tried the approach where walkers knocked down trees but it felt a bit off, it kinda made it too easy, maintining the walker chain can become very intensive, maybe I should find a way between those options :)

That makes sense.   You could switch from ranged harvest to mele harvest at close range.  Had a blast playing it!

Good news!

I'm working on updates to release after the gamejam.

Your idea of the walker knocking down trees is in the version I'll release after the gamejam.

It is called the "Mauler" and can only be installed on the initial "first" walker.

It automatically damages trees and rocks every 1 second, it takes 3 seconds to clear an object, each second the walker is stuck it'll still receive damage though, even with "Mauler" installed.
