Really clever interpretation of the theme! The detective notebook mechanic made the investigation feel engaging, and the hamster detective idea gave the game a lot of charm. I liked how the clues connected together while exploring the environment. The art style and overall atmosphere fit the cozy mystery vibe well, and the simple controls made it easy to jump straight in.
A few things that could improve the experience even more would be adding stronger sound design, more environmental detail, and clearer feedback when discovering important clues. Some extra dialogue personality and little animations would also make the world feel even more alive.
Overall though, this feels like a genuinely fun game concept with a strong foundation, especially for a game jam. Great work!
