Execution was well done, but felt like I was just clicking around without understanding what I needed to do.

Thanks for the feedback 😄 And honestly, I kind of agree — if you rush through the game and click around too fast, it’s easy to miss information and feel lost. That’s something I realized more during the rating phase.

I also just ran out of time and ideas for making the onboarding/tutorial clearer. Since this was my first jam where I actually managed to fully finish and submit a complete game, I mostly focused on getting the whole experience working, not on designing it specifically for super fast jam-style playthroughs 😅

But it’s definitely something I’ll keep in mind for future jams!

I get what you mean - my submission had plenty of holes too in order to get it submitted. :) I made sure to get a How To Play done though. If a player can't easily figure out a game they'll probably quit quickly.
