I liked how "silence" is something that happened outside of the game itself! I couldn't finish the game because I couldn't find the right moment to cover my ears. I've tried to do it as fast as possible, wait as long as I could, waiting for the first weeping sound, etc., but I couldn't get past it although I had no problems with covering my eyes. Any hints?

Thanks! I was able to finish it holding Enter. Even though I could see where the story was leading to, I didn't want to leave it unfinished.
Maybe what lead me to tapping was that the "stare" minigame worked just by tapping. I understand the decision of having a tap there (you wouldn't easily know when to open your eyes back again), but maybe you could find a way to either make the weeping work with tap or the stare with holding. Anyway, just an idea.
Cool execution, it's visually tight and doesn't overdo the creepy side, liked it!
